Segura Language Services is a unique language service and intercultural communication agency based in Southeastern Wisconsin, USA. We provide linguistic and cultural solutions to a number of diverse local, national and international clients via internet, telephone and on-site services. Our agency was originally established in 2003 to meet local needs for highly qualified interpreters and translators. In the past 14 years, we have grown to be an international service provider in addition to continuing to meet the needs of local individuals, organizations and businesses.
Services
Translation is the rendering of written communication from one language (source) to another (target). Our company handles translation projects ranging from simple everyday communication to highly technical documents. We are equipped to provide translation from- and to- virtually any language, as we work with qualified professional translators from around the globe.
Unlike a translator, who changes written words from one language to another, an INTERPRETER renders messages between languages in the spoken form. This can be in person both consecutively (one person speaking at a time and pausing for the interpreter to render the message), and simultaneously (interpreter renders interpretation while the parties are speaking, always a few words behind the conversation); or over the telephone.
At Segura Language Services, we are unique in that we provide a wide range of business and organizational support services in addition to linguistics, at low hourly rates.
