Our ultimate goal is to ensure effective communication between both parties while continuing to adhere to all the standards of the interpreting profession. Our interpreters are evaluated based on their linguistic ability, education and comprehension by MIR staff, we also offer periodic training of new interpreters. Most of our interpreters hold B.A. degree and have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in the field of professional interpreting.
We offer a comprehensive range of solutions for all your translation needs. To ensure the highest quality, our accredited translators always translate into their native language. After each translation is completed, our professionally trained editors and proofreaders carefully review each translation to guarantee the highest accuracy, terminology, completeness and style.
It is essential that the resulting communication barrier be removed, so that these persons are placed in the same position as similarly situated persons for whom there is no such barrier. As officers of the court, interpreters help assure that such persons may enjoy equal access to justice and that court proceedings and court support services function efficiently and effectively.
Hospital managers are required to use reasonable judgement in setting up their interpreter systems, based on the volume and diversity of the language groups they serve. The departments of Public Health and Mental Health in licensing or re-licensing these hospitals, are to consider how well they carry out these mandates.
